Three guides to help you choose where to go
Picking your first race is the hardest part. There are over twenty Grands Prix on the calendar, and they are not all the same kind of weekend. These three guides break the calendar into groups, so you can find the race that suits you. When Formula 1 Takes Over the Streets: Singapore, Baku, Monaco, Montreal and Las Vegas. The Races That Built Formula 1: Italy, Belgium, Austria, Great Britain and Mexico. The New Generation Grands Prix: Austin, Miami, Abu Dhabi, Turkey and Qatar.
Travel Tips, Checklists and Planning Tools
The small things are what catch people out on a first trip. This part of the Hub covers the details that are easy to overlook. A set of travel tips for planning a Grand Prix trip, gathered from years of doing it. Printable checklists for packing, budgeting and booking, so nothing slips through. Print them, work through them, and you will know exactly where you stand before you go.
The Little Black Book of Grand Prix Hotels
Where you stay shapes the whole weekend. This is a curated set of hotel recommendations for each Grand Prix, chosen for location as much as anything else. You will find options close to the circuit, options downtown, and options with easy transport links to the track. There is a range of standards too, so it works whether you are keeping costs down or treating yourself. In some places, some are even where the drivers stay. The list is reviewed and updated every year, so it reflects the current picture, not last season's.
About the F1 Trip Planning Hub
The Hub is the entry point to GP Traveller. It is built for fans who want to attend a race but are not sure where to start. Inside, you get the three Bucket List F1 guides, the Little Black Book of Grand Prix Hotels, the travel tips, and the printable checklists and planning tools. Together they take you from "I would love to go to a Grand Prix one day" to a trip you can actually start booking. Not everyone enjoys the planning. That is exactly what this is here for.
Hello, I'm Rob
Formula 1 travel is what I do. I have visited around 75% of the current F1 circuits and spent over 30 years researching and attending races. GP Traveller is my dedicated resource for Formula 1 fans planning Grand Prix trips. Everything here is based on first-hand experience, both from my own travels and from planning these trips for hundreds of other fans over the years. The grandstand recommendations, the hotels, the transport tips, all of it comes from time spent at the circuits rather than a desk. Not everyone enjoys the planning side as much as I do, and that is exactly why GP Traveller exists.
